In addition to private practice, I am also an educator in the school system and have worked as a counsellor with teens and families at the highschool. I have a background in science, ecology and education from U.B.C. and S.F.U. as well as skilled in outdoor education, guiding and wilderness. I am a A.C.MG hiking guide and passionate about nature, resources, self care and self awareness.

I live in the beautiful selkirk mountains in the town of Nelson, B.C. with my amazing teenager, our dog, cat and wonderful neighbourhood community. In summers I can be found on a river, lake or out camping in the wilderness with my son; in fall, winter or spring enjoying teaching school kids and hiking trails, playing on skis and snowshoes, reading books by a warm fire, playing music or making art.
